![]() ![]() Doing this automatically sets the inputs of those VEPro mixer channels to the extra outputs of Kontakt and Superior Drummer, in ascending order. I did that 7 times for each plugin, to create 8 faders each for Kontakt and Superior Drummer. In The VEPro mixer window, I clicked on the + symbol under the single fader each for Kontakt and Superior that were originally created when I loaded those plugins. The 7 aux tracks receive the other audio outputs from Superior Drummer. Only instrument track 9 is sending MIDI to Superior Drummer, which is receiving the audio of the Kick. Kick to 1/2, Snare to 3/4, all toms to 5/6, etc etc. Superior Drummer is set in its mixer to send sounds to multiple outputs. The 9th track is sending MIDI to an instance of Superior Drummer also set up in the same instance of VEPro, set to receive on MIDI channel 9. I set up 8 stereo output pairs in Kontakt itself. The first 8 tracks are triggering different sounds within a single instance of Kontakt loaded up in VEPro, set to MIDI channels 1-8.Įach sound is set within Kontakt to go to a different Kontakt output pair. The 9x instrument tracks are outputting MIDI to VEPro Port A MIDI channels 1-9. Their audio inputs are set to the outputs from the VEPro plugin on instrument track 1, outputs 3/4, 5/6 etc ascending up to 31/32. The other 8 instrument tracks come next, followed by the 7 aux tracks. It has 'no input' selected as its audio input. The 1st instrument track has VEPro plugin instantiated on it. I've not had chance to play much with MB7 yet, but I can confirm that VEPro has no problem providing multiple channels of audio into PT11.Ĭurrently I have a session up with 9x Instrument tracks + 7x Aux tracks. What if NI decides to roll aa圆4 bit into new product versions through the whole line for which they would rightly charge? Remember Komplete Anything is just a collection of NI products and it would be individual programs that get updated like Kontakt, Absynth, etc. Scary proposition for me and probably others is what if NI charges for aax 64 bit? I know there's a lot of companies that haven't charged and a couple that have. And they won't say anything in their forums either. I wouldn't trust the info on NI's site as of now several product pages have wrong info especially on what plugin formats are supported. The only way any of us will know is by checking Service Center and for that person to post here. There's a few instruments I'm holding off from buying until they go aa圆4. Still, some sort of loose target would be good, like weeks away or months away if that be the case. Soon as NI goes aa圆4 my ProTools 11 will be complete and I will rule the universe once again! But alas, at least the daily search for any news of an update helps get me out of bed in the mornings. I don't think NI would program everything for 64 bit except one format (especially AAX knowing PT11 is coming).Īs far as RTAS the only plug right now that doesn't have an RTAS version is Battery 4 which is said right on NI's site on the Battery 4 page. OSX 10.8 is 64 bit only but has the ability to run both 32 & 64 bit programs. Just trying to point out, once again, if you read the page I linked to you'll see K9 will run on both 32 and 64 bit operating systems. All I'm trying to do is gather as much info from as many places as possible. I'll also add that when they launched K9 their own site didn't even mention RTAS compatibility, so you can maybe try to understand why I'm confused. ![]() They currently run in PT10 which doesn't use AAX64 AFAIK, so I don't see what you're link is supposed to show me in regards to PT11. You'll note I live in Australia, so it's not so simple for me to pick up a phone and call them.Īnyhoo, what you linked doesn't say anything about it being AAX64 bit ready. NI's support forum sucks and they barely return emails. ![]()
